Pankaj Nimavat is an Indian filmmaker associated with the Gujarati regional film industry. Born in Jamnagar, Gujarat, India, he developed an early interest in cinema and creative arts. He began his journey in the entertainment industry with the 2001 Gujarati film Maiyar Ma Mandu Nathi Lagatu, marking his initial step into filmmaking. Before moving fully into direction, he gained practical experience by working as a dress designer for nearly five years, which helped him understand the visual and styling aspects of cinema. In 2006, he progressed into direction by working as an assistant director on Bewafa Pardeshi. Over the years, he steadily advanced in his career, serving as an associate director until 2023 and contributing creatively to several film projects. Expanding his role further, Nimavat also worked as a creative director on multiple films, showcasing his storytelling and technical skills. He eventually made his directorial debut with the film Prityu Na Mul, providing an opportunity to producer Madhu Dobariya and marking a significant milestone in his filmmaking career.
