He is a musician, composer, singer, and arranger, considered one of the pioneers of electronic music in Brazil. He moved to São Paulo at the age of 16 in 1975, completing his secondary education in the city. During this period, he formed his first band, inspired by progressive rock. The following year, he attended courses on synthesizers taught by musician and composer Luiz Roberto Oliveira at the São Paulo Museum of Art. In September 1979, he traveled to California, where he stayed for one year studying English and attending classes in Electronic Music and Film at San Diego State University. During this time, he came into contact with the rock and punk scenes and with the early New Wave movement. Upon returning to Brazil, he formed the band Agentss with guitarists Miguel Barella and Eduardo Amarante, playing synthesizers and singing in a self-created language known as Elektrotranslyriks. He later developed various projects involving photography, video, and music. He lives and works in São Paulo.
