It recedes.
Walls crack.
Homes tilt.
The ground withdraws.
Nimoli is a remote Himalayan village
caught between three silent peaks,
where the wind carries a strange,
persistent whistle.
Pankul believes language can restore balance.
Harilal believes disappearance can be sold.
Between them,
